Revision Tips

R E V I S I O N   T I P S !

If you are as unlucky as me then you will have exams this year. I have quite a lot actually, near my Birthday aswell:( So I am going to tell you some revision tips I use and they may help you to learn information for your examinations too!

Produce mindmaps of topics in a certain subject. But do not overload the content, keep it concise. Well you need to just write down all the IMPORTANT things and do not waste time writing down irrelevant stuff.

What I also find useful is to treat myself. So I will time myself to read a topic and after I will answer some questions based on that same topic. If I do well, I will eat some chocolate or sweets:) I also take regular breaks, do not revise TOO much also. I don't spend all my time revising, I take rests or sometimes meet up with my friends. (Yes, you are allowed to do that!)

After revising, I had this for my treat!
I often ask my sister to test me on things before my exams/tests, this really helps me. She will look through my textbooks and tell me to answer for instance 'What is the role of the Chloroplasts in plant cells'. (RANDOM, I KNOW!) Or she will tell me to explain something and check if I have got it right. I would advise you just to ask anyone you know to test you, of course when they have time though.

Make flashcards, notes and posters. Then you could stick them on the walls of rooms you go in quite a lot daily. I might start making mind maps and putting them in my bathroom or even in the kitchen. It will help you remember things and you can just read them whenever you would like to.

You can also make questions and test yourself whenever you can. When I am out, I go on my iPhone, then go on 'notes' and write down everything I know in a topic and when I get home, I check if I know all the key info in that area and then I add any more content that I missed out.

I hope this helps you to revise and good luck for your exams. Please comment down below any suggestions for this blog!:D

I got bored and made this out of Smarties!
