Revision Tips

R E V I S I O N   T I P S !

If you are as unlucky as me then you will have exams this year. I have quite a lot actually, near my Birthday aswell:( So I am going to tell you some revision tips I use and they may help you to learn information for your examinations too!

Produce mindmaps of topics in a certain subject. But do not overload the content, keep it concise. Well you need to just write down all the IMPORTANT things and do not waste time writing down irrelevant stuff.

What I also find useful is to treat myself. So I will time myself to read a topic and after I will answer some questions based on that same topic. If I do well, I will eat some chocolate or sweets:) I also take regular breaks, do not revise TOO much also. I don't spend all my time revising, I take rests or sometimes meet up with my friends. (Yes, you are allowed to do that!)

After revising, I had this for my treat!
I often ask my sister to test me on things before my exams/tests, this really helps me. She will look through my textbooks and tell me to answer for instance 'What is the role of the Chloroplasts in plant cells'. (RANDOM, I KNOW!) Or she will tell me to explain something and check if I have got it right. I would advise you just to ask anyone you know to test you, of course when they have time though.

Make flashcards, notes and posters. Then you could stick them on the walls of rooms you go in quite a lot daily. I might start making mind maps and putting them in my bathroom or even in the kitchen. It will help you remember things and you can just read them whenever you would like to.

You can also make questions and test yourself whenever you can. When I am out, I go on my iPhone, then go on 'notes' and write down everything I know in a topic and when I get home, I check if I know all the key info in that area and then I add any more content that I missed out.

I hope this helps you to revise and good luck for your exams. Please comment down below any suggestions for this blog!:D

I got bored and made this out of Smarties!

PROCRASTINATION ~ Beth

So it is Monday 10th March and I'm procrastinating.

For todays post I kind of had writers block you could say as I felt like all my ideas were not good enough  but I didn't want to not post so here I am procrastinating instead of revising for my looming exams not the best idea. I don't know about you (but im feeling twenty twoooo) but I hate the idea of exams and revision it doesn't sit with me well at all but at least once they are over it will be summer and who doesn't love summer?

A motivation quote for any of you guys facing those dreaded exams :)

On a lighter note its officially spring WOOO HOOO we can wear brighter coloured clothes and watch flowers bloom and the sun will shine (well maybe not seen as it is England) but we can hope :) and I have an excuse to go shopping that is something to enjoy :D are you planning to update your wardrobe add in some spring colours maybe some floral?

Well that's all for today I have to actually do some revision now oh the pain :( I shall see you guys next week bye bye

Pink Lemonade Lucozade Slushes

PINK LEMONADE LUCOZADE SLUSHES

Hello guys! I've been quite busy this week, I need to revise so much for my GCSEs. Anyway, I watched
' 12 Years A Slave ' and ' The Book Thief ', they are such amazing films. Please watch them! I can't wait till the movies, Divergent, The Fault In Our Stars and The Hunger Games, Mockingjay are released. I can't believe it is March already! This year is already going quite fast, but that means my exams are going to come very soon. How has your week been? Comment below suggestions for our blog! :)

Pink Lemonade Lucozade

Pink  Lemonade Lucozade Slushes
I absolutely love these, 'Pink Lemonade Lucozade Slushes'. So what I do is, get some type of cup (I use Starbucks cups) and I fill them with pink lemonade lucozade. I put the drink in the freezer and wait a couple of hours, until they are icy and slush like, but not completely frozen. Then I add some more pink lucozade to the cup and then drink it. It tastes SO good! Please try it! If you do not have pink lemonade drinks in your country, try it with another drink you really like. These slushes are so refreshing and easy to make. They are perfect for Summer!

QOTD - What is your favourite drink? Mine is the Starbucks Cookie Crumble Mocha Frappuccino <3
