Troye sivan EP? Trxye and Single Happy Little Pill ~ Beth

So this is something that I feel couldn't not be blogged about, Troye Sivan recently announced that he is releasing an EP!

Troye relased a video to his youtube channel on the 26th June telling everyone he had signed with EMI Australia and was debuting an EP-which is now available to pre order- with already 2000 signed copies sold from his site Troye is well on his way into the music business.

Trxye is available for purchase on August 15th and Happy Little Pill is the first single to be debuted and was released on 24th July to his tumblr which caused a hurricane of fangirls and boys as they exploded with excitement and pride. The song was released the following Friday and I must say it is undeniably amazing! I have been listening to it non stop and I highly recommend you purchase it too. The single it's self is still number 1 in the American and Australian charts but lets be honest is it really any less than number one...I don't think so.

So are you a Troye Sivan fan and are you going to be purchasing Trxye or have you already pre ordered like me?

Birthday, School Stuff And More! ~ Sahira

Birthday, School Stuff And More! ~ Sahira

Hey everyone, I'm still alive! It has been really stressful for me during these last 2 months because of these exams but nonetheless I hope I have worked hard enough to get good GCSE results, I guess. It has been nearly a month, well I think about a month I'm not sure to be honest, since my 16th birthday.

I received money off my parents and bought some amazing turquoise tie dye converse! I actually love them so much, I wanted to have different converse other than the trending and popular white/cream converse (don't get me wrong, I still love like every converse trainers there are!) and so bought them off The House Of Fraser. It was good fast delivery, however the converse brand box was slightly damaged:(

My oldest sister got me the basics of make-up because I hardly ever wear it, but I'm going to start to wear some now. Beth had no idea what to get me, but in the end she got me a beautiful personalised bracelet and the colours on it are so pretty! (personalised things are great for me, my name is not that common and I can never usually find my names in gift stores!).
One of my friends made me a purple and blue loom band bracelet, which is really nice. Loom bands bracelets are becoming quite a trend now and I actually feel proud to know how to make them, it is actually get easy, once you get the hang of it. (But sometimes you've actually got to watch out if anyone flicks a single loom band at you LOL) I've made quite a lot of them now.
My best friend, Alina got me some JLS perfume and it honestly smells so good! I love the scent of that perfume. Some of my friends have not got me anything yet because they have been focussing on their exams, which I do not mind. I just really wanted to do something for my birthday for instance have a birthday party/meal but unfortunately I did not make such plans because I was aware that my friends would have to revise for their exams, which is very important.

I would also like to tell you guys some tips for exams, based on experience :

1)REVISE as early as possible. (I didn't and I totally regret it)

2)Manage your time carefully during the exam, bring a watch or ask an invigilator what time it is when you need to. (In a history exam, a day before my birthday aswell, I missed out a 12 mark question as I had ran out of time and that question was one I could have answered quite well.)

3)READ THE QUESTION PROPERLY, I always underline the command term and keywords in the question to make sure I understand it, I always make silly mistakes that I realise after the exam has finished and me and my friends are discussing the answers. But we are all human and we make common errors...

4)ALWAYS ANSWER THE QUESTION, even if you do not know the answer and still have time, it is better to make a guess and you could still gain some marks. Especially if you are unsure on a tick box, just make a guess! (It is better than just leaving it out and losing marks)

5)Do not be afraid to ask the teacher is you are struggling in a certain topic just because you are embarrassed, just imagine how MORE embarrassed you would feel by not doing well in that area if it actually appears on the exam paper.

It is actually quite scary to be thinking I'll be starting college in September and be doing A-Levels. GCSE's are quite hard, now I'm going to have study hard and extremely concentrate in sixth form. It was nearly most of Year 11's last day on Friday 13th June (we had our maths exam, it was solid, friday the 13th certainly does live up to its name, I really want to get a B especially for my career path, I know I am going to get a C though) but since I still have triple science to do, my last exam is on the 23rd June.

I had my triple Biology B3 exam today in the morning, it went ok, considering I did not do enough revision. I just wish I did more and I felt even more guilty because when I came in the morning to do some last minute revision, me and my friend were skimming through the pages of the revision guide. I kept saying certain topics such as Haemophilia and Monoclonal Antibodies were not going to come up and guess what? They both did! I'm glad that ADH came up and enzyme technology were on it, but unfortunately my ultimate weakest topic is the menstrual cycle and it came up on the 6 point question! Another tip, always revise your weaknesses because, well to my luck, they always come up! Also always bring a calculator for all science exams if allowed to, trust me, its useful. Now I have to revise for the hardest exams ever (in my opinion anyway), Triple Chemistry and Triple Physics!!!!! :'(

I can't wait till my Prom, it is on the 26th of June, I got my dress in March and my sister will be doing my make-up. I might blog or even vlog Prom. I've already paid for my ticket and hopefully it will be such a fun night. For my next blog post, I might show you some really sweet entries of my Year 11 Leaver's book. Oh my days, I watched a Hunger Games Spoof yesterday and it was quite funny, but a bit random. But I will still always love The Hunger Games and of course Divergent<4 I haven't watched that many youtubers in a long time, like I used to. I am definitely going to as soon as my exams have finished.

ALSO, The Fault In Our Stars is going to be released in cinemas, THIS THURSDAY. Time has gone so fast, I've been avoiding TFIOS fandoms on instagram because of the threat of MAJOR SPOILERS. But, I really wanna watch the movie, despite the fact I haven't read the book yet and most of my friends have and keep telling me to read it! The trailer for the movie is perfect. ANSEL ELGORT AND SHAILENE WOODLEY THOUGH.

I also bought these injection pens off Ebay, they are pretty cool to be honest. They are good pens and I wrote with one of them for an exam and that exam went really well for me. (Well atleast I think it did) I have given most of the pens away to my friends. On Friday 6th June, me and my friend were so angry after the additional Biology exam, it was horrible.

What annoyed me the most, was the fact that some of the questions were worded quite confusingly and also I had done really nice past papers for that same exam unit and done quite well. The grade boundaries will have to go down as they are very high for biology and I hope the grade boundaries are in my favour on Thursday 21st August 2014, aka RESULTS DAY. (one of the most scariest days for a student)

LAST WEDNESDAY, THE IN HINDSIGHT BAND CAME TO MY SCHOOL AND GUESS WHAT? ONLY YEAR 7, 8 AND 9 GOT TO SEE THEM PERFORM LIVE WHILST YEAR 11'S INCLUDING ME AND BETH WERE IN A REVISION SESSION, SO NOT FAIR!:( WE DIDN'T EVEN GET THEIR AUTOGRAPHS, I'VE WATCHED THEIR YOUTUBE VIDEOS AND THEY ARE PRETTY GOOD TO BE HONEST. LOL, I followed each of their instagram accounts though:) They have been doing a lot of performances in high schools lately which I saw on their facebook page.

QOTD - What is your favourite song at the moment?

Mine is ' It's My Birthday By Will.I.AM Ft Cody Wise ', listen to this song k?

May Favourites ~ Beth

Hey guys, so seen as May is over and we are well into June I decided I would show you some of my May favourites. Some of theses are beauty/skinncare and some are just random so I guess we better get started.

My first favourite of May has been the Soap and Glory Righteouse Butter I got this as a gift for my birthday (read post here)  This butter is luxuriously soft on the skin and leaves the skin feeling well moisturised and nourished. I am in love with this products it doesn't leave you feeling sticky it is perfect and I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

My next favourite of May has been the Biotherm Purefect skin toner. I have been using this product for just over a month and I have to say it not what I expected. After reading about the product I kind of feeling as if it was too good to be true but I must say now that it isn't and I'm  so happy I dared to purchase it! My skin is left looking crystal clear and my red uneven skin tone reduced. I use the toner on a morning and nightly basis and apply it just before my moisturiser and I must say since I added this product to my routine my skin is looking much more healthier and clear. For me this product is a definite re purchase.

Onto my sort of random favourites of the month ,the first being Skater Skirts now these have been popular for quite a while now and this summer I have finally decided that I am going to brave it and force my self to wear skirts and shorts and dresses -yes dresses- now I've always been a trouser leggings jeans kind of person because quite honestly I hate my legs and am very self conscious but I want to try and change that and so I bought some shorts and skater skirts and I actually really like Skater skirts they are easily paired with anything and you can wear them casually or more sophisticatedly they are just so versatile and so I have been loving them.

My final favourite of May has been music and in particular You Me At Six and The Vamps.
I have loved the Vamps forever remember when Connor joined (I do) and their new album Meet The Vamps is amazing I just love it so much! My favourite song from their album has to be Somebody to you and last night.
On to You Me At Six I have also loved these guys for a very long time and their recent album Cavalier Youth is just I'm speechless I just cant. I love them all Matt though and josh I'm  just asjkjshkfalajhg.  My favourite song from the album so far are Too Young To Feel This Old and Fresh Star Fever and Carpe Diem I'm probably just going to end up listing them all so I'll just stop haha.

So that's all my favourites what have been yours?

~ Beth :)

DIVERGENT

Divergent

Hey Guys! Its Sahira and I am so sorry for not posting for like a month, I've had so much school work recently and my GCSE exams start like next week. If you have exams, make sure you revise and good luck in them! Remember you have to put the effort in to get the grades that you want:)

But anyways, I watched Divergent yesterday! It was amazing, Shailene and Theo were perfect for Tris and Four. The music was amazing and everything was mostly like the book. I just wish that they included Uriah in the first film. Now I need to read Insurgent and Allegiant:) OMD, I have started reading The Fault In Our Stars, thank you to Beth for letting me borrow it and also pestering me to read it. I am going to make sure that I read it before the movie, which I can't wait for. Shailene is also going to be in it and it is so weird how Ansel Elgort plays her brother in Divergent and then Gus in TFIOS.

Its my birthday soon, so I will update you on what I got. It is so annoying how my birthday is near my exams. :(

QOTD - Which faction would you be in? I think I would be Divergent like Tris:)

On Saturday 29th March, it was my birthday and I finally turned 16! WooHoo!

Having a very excited younger sibling it means I was awoken very early that morning with screams, laughter, singing and many balloons being thrown around my room. It was really sweet but also very early to be that happy I am not a morning person you could say :)

Revision Tips

R E V I S I O N   T I P S !

If you are as unlucky as me then you will have exams this year. I have quite a lot actually, near my Birthday aswell:( So I am going to tell you some revision tips I use and they may help you to learn information for your examinations too!

Produce mindmaps of topics in a certain subject. But do not overload the content, keep it concise. Well you need to just write down all the IMPORTANT things and do not waste time writing down irrelevant stuff.

What I also find useful is to treat myself. So I will time myself to read a topic and after I will answer some questions based on that same topic. If I do well, I will eat some chocolate or sweets:) I also take regular breaks, do not revise TOO much also. I don't spend all my time revising, I take rests or sometimes meet up with my friends. (Yes, you are allowed to do that!)

After revising, I had this for my treat!
I often ask my sister to test me on things before my exams/tests, this really helps me. She will look through my textbooks and tell me to answer for instance 'What is the role of the Chloroplasts in plant cells'. (RANDOM, I KNOW!) Or she will tell me to explain something and check if I have got it right. I would advise you just to ask anyone you know to test you, of course when they have time though.

Make flashcards, notes and posters. Then you could stick them on the walls of rooms you go in quite a lot daily. I might start making mind maps and putting them in my bathroom or even in the kitchen. It will help you remember things and you can just read them whenever you would like to.

You can also make questions and test yourself whenever you can. When I am out, I go on my iPhone, then go on 'notes' and write down everything I know in a topic and when I get home, I check if I know all the key info in that area and then I add any more content that I missed out.

I hope this helps you to revise and good luck for your exams. Please comment down below any suggestions for this blog!:D

I got bored and made this out of Smarties!

PROCRASTINATION ~ Beth

So it is Monday 10th March and I'm procrastinating.

For todays post I kind of had writers block you could say as I felt like all my ideas were not good enough  but I didn't want to not post so here I am procrastinating instead of revising for my looming exams not the best idea. I don't know about you (but im feeling twenty twoooo) but I hate the idea of exams and revision it doesn't sit with me well at all but at least once they are over it will be summer and who doesn't love summer?

A motivation quote for any of you guys facing those dreaded exams :)

On a lighter note its officially spring WOOO HOOO we can wear brighter coloured clothes and watch flowers bloom and the sun will shine (well maybe not seen as it is England) but we can hope :) and I have an excuse to go shopping that is something to enjoy :D are you planning to update your wardrobe add in some spring colours maybe some floral?

Well that's all for today I have to actually do some revision now oh the pain :( I shall see you guys next week bye bye

Pink Lemonade Lucozade Slushes

PINK LEMONADE LUCOZADE SLUSHES

Hello guys! I've been quite busy this week, I need to revise so much for my GCSEs. Anyway, I watched
' 12 Years A Slave ' and ' The Book Thief ', they are such amazing films. Please watch them! I can't wait till the movies, Divergent, The Fault In Our Stars and The Hunger Games, Mockingjay are released. I can't believe it is March already! This year is already going quite fast, but that means my exams are going to come very soon. How has your week been? Comment below suggestions for our blog! :)

Pink Lemonade Lucozade

Pink  Lemonade Lucozade Slushes
I absolutely love these, 'Pink Lemonade Lucozade Slushes'. So what I do is, get some type of cup (I use Starbucks cups) and I fill them with pink lemonade lucozade. I put the drink in the freezer and wait a couple of hours, until they are icy and slush like, but not completely frozen. Then I add some more pink lucozade to the cup and then drink it. It tastes SO good! Please try it! If you do not have pink lemonade drinks in your country, try it with another drink you really like. These slushes are so refreshing and easy to make. They are perfect for Summer!

QOTD - What is your favourite drink? Mine is the Starbucks Cookie Crumble Mocha Frappuccino <3

Soap and glory- hand food review ~Beth

Today I am  going to do a review on the Soap and Glory hand food cream.

hand food soap and glory
I was given this as a Christmas gift and in all honesty I am not much of a hand lotion person  however this cream has definitely changed my mind. The cream is very moisturising due its it's highly soothing ingredients and perfect for parched winter skin, unlike many other lotions it is light weight and sticks to its word on it not being greasy at all which is a huge bonus.

The cream smells unbelievably amazing and I fell in love instantly, it just does exactly what it says on the tin - well bottle- as well as its brilliant quality's it is also a very great price not too expensive(at only £5.00)  I will defiantly be purchasing this hand cream and I would 100% recommend to anybody looking for a soft soothing hand cream.
Highly soothing ingredients

QOTD: what's your favourite soap and glory product? Answer in the comments.....
